Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Program Manager to drive drug development programs from Late Stage Research through Proof of Concept, coordinating cross-functional teams and partners. You will shape program strategy, manage timelines and resources, and ensure timely decision points to advance science and medicine for patients.

The role requires a life sciences background, direct project management experience, and strong communication skills to align internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences; advanced degree desirable.
• 5-8 years of multi-disciplinary biotech/pharmaceutical experience; relevant academic or industry experience considered.
• Experience with project/program management in drug development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain integrated program schedules for accurate analyses and planning.
• Oversee and prepare program team budgets including resources and costs.
• Act as primary contact; document and archive program activities and decisions.
