Job summary

At Mott MacDonald, we seek a Principal Engineer to lead drinking water quality assessments, planning studies, and design for North American water infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years' experience in drinking water quality and treatment process evaluation, design and optimization.
• PE license with eligibility for reciprocal licensing in NY/NJ/PA.
• Deep understanding of water chemistry and disinfection byproducts.
• Experience with current drinking water quality regulations.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for drinking water treatment and distribution system water quality projects.
• Lead preparation of quality deliverables for facility and distribution system assessments and designs.
• Manage and coordinate multiple projects as part of a multidisciplinary design approach.
• Mentor junior staff and support technical development.
• Engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors for project delivery.
• Present at industry conferences and contribute publications.
