Placements24 seeks a seasoned Drilling Supervisor to oversee and direct drilling operations for projects in the East London area. This hands-on leadership role requires extensive experience in drilling operations, managing crews, equipment, and logistics while ensuring safety and efficiency.

You will monitor progress, plan programs, and coordinate with management, contractors, and regulatory bodies to meet objectives and minimize risks and costs in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of oil and gas drilling experience, with at least 3 years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques and equipment.
• Proven safety and emergency response experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drilling crews, ensuring safety procedures and guidelines.
• Monitor drilling progress, well parameters, and equipment performance.
• Plan and execute drilling programs including well construction and completion activities.
• Ensure integrity and functionality of drilling equipment and machinery.
• Manage inventory and logistics of drilling supplies and consumables.
• Communicate with management, contractors, and regulators regarding drilling operations.
