Job summary

Murphy Oil Corporation is seeking a Sr Supply Chain Analyst focused on Drilling & Completions Procurement. You will drive the procurement plan, negotiate cost-saving contracts, and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance while supporting day-to-day drilling activities.

The role is based in Houston with the potential for two remote days per week as needed, offering a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to influence procurement strategy across business units.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations procurement or contracting support.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Source major materials, equipment and services for Drilling and Completions.
• Execute daily sourcing activities: develop POs, issue POs, expediting.
• Lead supplier negotiations and cost-reduction strategies; manage contract lifecycle.
• Ensure contracts comply with internal controls and external regulations.
• Collaborate with Legal/Contracts to align on compliance and opportunities.
