Job summary

ONEXCP is seeking a Drill Out Operator III in Midland, Texas to lead and execute advanced drill out operations with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The role requires overseeing equipment maintenance, data collection, and mentoring less experienced crew members.

You will drive best practices on pad operations, perform routine testing, analyze results, and collaborate with field teams to meet project goals in challenging outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of oil field operations or well testing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of drill out equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drill Out Operations: Conduct routine well testing, including production, flow, and pressure tests, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Equipment Management: Operate and maintain drill out equipment, including separators, flow meters, and pressure gauges; perform minor repairs.
• Data Collection & Reporting: Collect and analyze data from testing operations, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting to supervisory staff.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, participating in safety training and meetings.
• Team Collaboration: Work with field personnel and engineering teams to coordinate testing schedules and resolve issues.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality by following SOPs and best practices.
• Field Maintenance: Assist in maintenance and repair of Drill Out equipment and tools.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor Drill Out Operators I and II; facilitate training.
