Job summary

US Accounting is a healthcare auditing firm specializing in DRG and inpatient coding reviews. This fully remote role is based in the United States and offers up to 10% annual travel for occasional on-site reviews.

You will conduct/MS-DRG and APR-DRG coding audits, document overpayments with regulatory references, and leverage 3M and Webstrat tools to enhance audit accuracy and reimbursement compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of MS-DRG/APR-DRG inpatient coding experience.
• Professional certifications such as CCS, CIC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT.
• Proficiency with 3M and Webstrat auditing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive DRG coding audits and validate DRG assignments.
• Document overpayments with references to coding regulations and clinical documentation.
• Utilize encoder tools like 3M and Webstrat to improve audit accuracy.
