Micron Technology, Inc. in San Jose, California seeks a Principal System Architect to translate memory technology roadmaps into system-level requirements and architectures for DRAM products and high-speed mixed-signal systems.

You will own end-to-end architecture from concept through prototype bring-up, validation, and manufacturing transfer, collaborating with cross-functional teams while driving first-pass success and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with extensive experience.
• 15+ years in memory/storage hardware or related high-speed systems.
• Experience with memory/storage subsystems (e.g., DDR, PCIe).
• Ability to lead architecture from concept to production and transfer to manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Identify and refine customer memory needs into measurable system requirements and interfaces.
• Lead architecture pathfinding and prototype bring-up; own trade-offs and decisions.
• Lead risk-based verification, margin testing, qualification strategy, and evidence for release.
• Support certification, NPI, materials procurement, supplier engagement, and manufacturing transfer.
• Drive process improvements to increase first-pass success, speed, traceability, and quality.
