Job summary

NCS Engineers in Willis, TX is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to design, analyze, and document stormwater systems for residential, commercial, and municipal development projects. You will lead projects, mentor staff, and coordinate with project managers, CAD teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Water Resources, PE preferred, and 6–12+ years of drainage experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/hydraulic software

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Water Resources Engineering or related field.
PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
6–12+ years of drainage and stormwater design experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare/review drainage calculations, hydrology studies, and drainage design plans.
Lead hydrologic and hydraulic studies using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, PC-SWMM, SRH-2D.
Develop/seal drainage reports and FEMA submittals.
Mentor engineers/EITs, assign work, and ensure schedule adherence.
Coordinate with project managers, CAD staff, and agencies.
