Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Drainage Lead/Manager for our Innovative Pursuits Team, leading drainage engineering on transportation projects and coordinating with other leads to ensure quality and schedule.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in drainage design leadership for infrastructure, 3+ years DOT DB/PDB experience, and a current PE license, with strong client communication and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Current PE license preferred (states UT/NV/AZ/ID/CO/NM/WA)
• 10+ years of leading drainage design for infrastructure projects
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
• Ability to lead a team and work with clients
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project delivery team
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, plans, specs and quantities
• Knowledge of Microstation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software
• Work effectively as a team leader and maintain client relationships
• Be able to work on local and Rocky Mountain Region projects
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with clients and team
• Meet project deadlines
• Grow professionally within project teams
