Job summary

TYPSA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Drainage CADD Designer for our Phoenix, AZ office. The role involves assisting senior designers in producing designs and contract documents for drainage infrastructure on highway and municipal projects.

You will contribute to plan production, deliverables, and project coordination under a senior engineer’s guidance. A strong background in AutoCAD, Civil 3D,/OpenRoads and hydrology is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ten+ years civil experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
• Experience in Hydrology and Hydraulics is a plus.
• Project Wise experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and completing designs and contract documents for the AZ Drainage Group within the company’s Transportation Practice.
• Assist in the design and plan production of drainage infrastructure for freeway, highway, and municipal roadway projects under the guidance of a senior engineer.
• Preparation and checking of project plans and digital project deliverables.
