Job summary

TYPSA, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Drainage CADD Designer to support the AZ Drainage Group within the Transportation Practice. The role focuses on design development, plan production, and preparation of contract documents for drainage infrastructure on highways and municipal road projects.

The ideal candidate has ten+ years of civil experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of civil experience or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
• Solid skills in planning, scheduling, organization, problem solving, and decision making.
• Experience in Hydrology and Hydraulics is a plus.
• Project Wise experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior design personnel in developing and completing designs and contract documents for the AZ Drainage Group within the Transportation Practice.
• Assist in design and plan production of drainage infrastructure for freeway, highway, and municipal roadway projects under the guidance of a senior engineer.
• Prepare and check project plans and digital project deliverables.
