Job summary

DOF in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Draftsperson to provide advanced drafting and design support for engineering, projects, and tendering activities. This role oversees drafting workflows, reviews deliverables for quality and accuracy, and supports subsea tooling development and project drawings.

You will mentor and train other designers and drafters to support team delivery, while ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and alignment with company standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced drafting and design skills required.
• Experience supporting engineering projects and tendering activities is a plus.
• Ability to guide and train other designers/drafters.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an efficient drafting workflow aligned with ISO 9001:2008 requirements.
• Support the Lead Draftsperson in training department staff on workflows.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to safety and environmental policies.
• Oversee drafting workflows for subsea tooling, installation aids, and project drawings.
• Provide guidance and training to designers and drafters to support team delivery.
• Complete all required training modules.
• Minimize environmental impact in day-to-day activities.
