Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in drafting/engineering tech.
• 3+ years using AutoCAD in engineering or construction environments.
• 2+ years Revit experience.
• Experience with BIM coordination and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and docs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines with attention to detail.
• Advanced AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.
• Strong BIM workflow understanding.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced AutoCAD proficiency with minimal supervision.
• Produce accurate, consistent, high-quality drawing packages.
• Maintain consistent formatting across all project drawings.
• Configure AutoCAD settings: plotting, preferences, templates, workspace.
• Troubleshoot AutoCAD issues for designers and engineers.
• Support drafting standards and best practices.
• Demonstrate advanced Revit proficiency with minimal supervision.
• Maintain formatting and documentation across Revit models.
• Create, modify, and maintain Revit families for current/future projects.
• Configure Revit settings: printing, templates, preferences, tool palettes.
• Troubleshoot Revit-related issues for project teams.
• Assist with BIM workflow improvements and model management.
• Coordinate BIM meetings with Project Managers.
• Track clash detection actions; maintain AR logs.
• Support interdisciplinary model coordination.
• Ensure drawings comply with client CAD/BIM standards.
• Maintain client standards: layering, linetypes, annotations, sheets, title blocks, Xrefs.
• Coordinate with client databases/standards groups.
• Provide technical guidance to designers on standards compliance.
• Create and maintain project sheet sets.
• Utilize and improve drafting templates and setup tools.
• Develop drafting resources: templates, blocks, Revit families, sheet tools, details.
• Implement design revisions from engineers/designers.
• Mentor team on redlines and drafting best practices.
• Perform QA/QC at key milestones.
• Coordinate corrections with designers/engineers for high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain project folders and drawing references.
• Manage title blocks and logo Xrefs.
• Coordinate with PMs/Engineers/Designers on schedules.
• Track drafting ARs and follow up on items.
• Participate in project planning meetings.
• Communicate project status and risks to the team.
• Monitor Design Drafting inbox timely.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and filing systems.
• Assist with continuous improvement of drafting workflows and standards.
