Job summary

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking experienced Equipment Operators to safely operate large production dozers on major earthmoving projects in Idaho. You will work with multiple heavy equipment units to move rock and earth materials while meeting safety and production standards.

The role requires 5+ years of bulldozer experience, CAT D9/D10 proficiency, and a willingness to work overtime and varied shifts. Valid driver's license and OSHA 10 certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating large bulldozers in heavy civil construction, mining, quarry, mass excavation, or large earthwork projects.
• Experience operating CAT D9 and D10 dozers or equivalent large production dozers.
• Experience performing rock push operations, including pushing blasted, ripped, or excavated rock material in high-production environments.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT D9 and D10 bulldozers to perform rock push, mass excavation, site development, cut and fill work, and material movement in support of project production goals.
• Collaborate with excavators, haul trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment to move rock and earth materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Be prepared to assist with general labor duties and work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as project demands require.
