Sterling Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a loader operator in Boise, ID to support heavy civil construction. You will operate CAT 988/CAT 992 loaders to move rock, aggregate, overburden, and soil, ensuring efficient truck loading and material distribution.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience with large wheel loaders in active production environments. OSHA 10 is preferred; a valid driver's license is required. Excellent safety practices and teamwork are a must.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Experience with large wheel loaders in heavy civil construction or mining preferred.

Aufgaben

• Operate large production wheel loaders to load rigid-frame haul trucks and meet production goals.
• Handle and move rock, aggregate, overburden, soil, and other earth materials in high-volume environments.
• Work safely around haul trucks, excavators, dozers, and other heavy equipment.
• Maintain loading techniques, material control, and truck cycle efficiency.
• Perform stockpile management, loading operations, material blending, and site material distribution.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and assist with routine maintenance.
• Read and understand site plans, material movement requirements, and production objectives.
• Work in fast-paced, high-production environments with minimal supervision.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and project requirements.
• Assist with general labor duties as needed to support project operations.
