Job summary

Top Tier Transitions LLC is seeking a Senior Downsizing & Move Specialist in Romeoville. This part-time role focuses on compassionate relocation, downsizing, and estate-management support for seniors and families, with an emphasis on discretion and high-quality service.

You will assist with packing, organizing, and preparing homes for sale, while sorting belongings for Keep/Resale/Donation/Disposal and coordinating local donations. Travel within the Chicagoland area is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-touch service to clients navigating emotional transitions.
• Assist with downsizing, decluttering, and organizing belongings with care and sensitivity.
• Pack and unpack household items to create functional, comfortable new living spaces.
• Sort belongings into Keep, Resale, Donation, or Disposal categories and assist with estate sale prep.
• Coordinate donations to local organizations so items are rehomed respectfully.
• Help prepare items for approved resale channels when appropriate.
• Coordinate donations to meaningful local organizations so items are respectfully rehomed and continue serving others within the community
• Lift and move items (up to 25 lbs; larger items handled by professional movers)
• Clean and prepare homes for sale or new occupants
• Travel locally to client homes throughout the Chicagoland area
