Job summary

Energy Transfer partners with Federal and State regulatory agencies to ensure compliance for its natural gas and hazardous liquid pipelines. The role acts as liaison, coordinates audits, and communicates regulatory requirements across management levels.

The position requires experience with pipeline regulations, strong liaison skills, and the ability to interpret and train others on applicable rules. Field and travel expectations may apply as part of compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience working with Federal and State regulatory agencies preferred.
• Familiarity with pipeline regulations is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison between Energy Transfer and Federal & State Regulators for pipelines.
• Coordinate preparation for regulatory audits and respond to inquiries.
• Interact with internal staff, customers, and agency personnel to meet regulatory requirements.
• Summarize regulations and provide internal guidance to teams.
• Perform internal pipeline safety compliance reviews.
• Represent Energy Transfer in Industry Organizations when needed.
• Communicate regulatory activities with ET Management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal/state pipeline safety rules.
