Atmos Energy Corporation seeks a compliance-focused professional to lead safety and regulatory initiatives in the Fort Worth area. You will oversee resources, ensure DOT 192 compliance, and supervise measurement facilities and related control systems.

The role involves coordinating audits, reviews, and reports, plus representing the company to regulators and customers as needed. Strong leadership and budget management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field with 3 years of progressively responsible experience in the natural gas utility industry.
• GED with 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the natural gas utility industry.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, coordinates and oversees capital and human resources to meet customer service needs.
• Ensures compliance with DOT 192, O&M Manual and Atmos Measurement Procedures for public safety.
• Reviews projects, audits compliance, and maintains system integrity and safety.
• Installs, operates, tests, calibrates and maintains measurement facilities and control systems.
• Monitors QA audits of work to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Supervises leakage surveys, cathodic protection inspections and odorization tests.
• Answers inquiries, coordinates emergencies, outages and pressure problems with customers.
• Sets schedules to complete annual surveys and produces required reports.
• Implements policies and recommends revisions to procedures and standards.
• Represents company to regulators, officials and customers as needed.
• Develops and monitors budgets for the functional area.
• Plans and directs area goals within company policies.
• Maintains staffing levels and evaluates staff performance.
• Collaborates with division personnel and regulatory agencies on compliance initiatives.
• Performs other related duties as required.
