Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a regulatory liaison to interact with federal and state agencies over pipeline facilities and operations. The role involves audits, compliance reviews, and guidance on regulatory requirements, with exposure to industry organizations.

The ideal candidate will have energy industry experience, CFR knowledge, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent, with strong communication across internal teams and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in pipeline/energy industry.
• Knowledge of U.S. federal and state pipeline regulations.
• Experience working with federal and state regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison between Energy Transfer and regulatory agencies over pipeline facilities and operations.
• Coordinate and facilitate preparation for federal/state regulatory audits and inquiries.
• Interact with internal staff, customers and agency personnel to meet regulatory requirements while maintaining relationships.
• Summarize regulations and provide internal guidance on compliance requirements.
• Perform internal pipeline safety compliance reviews.
• Potentially represent Energy Transfer within industry organizations.
• Interface with management regarding regulatory activities as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of current federal and state pipeline safety regulations.
• Interpret regulations and train personnel to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain Company SOPs and enterprise compliance programs including odorization and critical infrastructure documentation.
