Job summary

The George Washington University seeks a Senior Prospect Analyst, Philanthropic Due Diligence, to perform comprehensive due diligence research on diverse donors and entities. You will contribute to review processes, producing well-documented research aligned with university policies and values.

Working within the Research and Relationship Management team, you will enhance reporting consistency, handle increasing volumes, and support donor strategy with rigorous analytical work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree or higher.
• Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience in prospect research, due diligence, investigative research, compliance, or related analytical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on individuals, corporations, foundations, and international entities.
• Prepare clear, structured due diligence reports summarizing findings and risks.
• Support established due diligence workflows: intake, documentation, tracking of requests and outcomes.
• Maintain and apply due diligence guidelines, templates, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with prospect research and advancement staff to fulfill requests.
