Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a Software/Systems Engineer to analyze user requirements, develop system architecture, and provide technical leadership across the lifecycle. You will interact with government stakeholders and ensure technical integrity of all SE deliverables.

The role requires extensive experience in systems engineering, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on DoDAF-based architectures and security considerations.

Qualifications

• 14 years of SE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline (or 5 years’ additional SE experience in lieu).
• Active Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance is required; cannot be sponsored for clearance.
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA; collecting and documenting requirements; coordinating with customers and developers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation (System Engineering Plans, Requirements Specifications, Interface Control Documents).
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with DoDAF and SOA architectures.
• Assist with development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation to hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from CCB, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews across disciplines.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities; develop system engineering documentation throughout the lifecycle.
