Job summary

DAn Solutions, Inc seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead the architecture and design of secure federal networks and mission-critical environments at on-site locations in Reston, VA or Washington, DC.

This role drives enterprise security strategies, Zero Trust roadmaps, and implementation approaches to reduce attack surfaces while maintaining mission effectiveness. You will collaborate with senior leadership and mentor security engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 5+ years leading technical project delivery.
• 5+ years in network architecture and design.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-207 and the DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture.
• Experience with perimeter defense, automation/orchestration, AI/analytics, IAM, and NAC.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop security roadmaps and Zero Trust capabilities.
• Architect Zero Trust solutions aligned with DoD/NIST standards.
• Lead network/system architecture focused on hardening and reduced attack surfaces.
• Translate objectives into engineering outcomes and solutions.
• Evaluate security technologies and recommend tools and approaches.
• Lead product-selection initiatives for perimeter defense, Zero Trust, automation/orchestration, AI/analytics, Secure DevOps, IAM, NAC.
• Collaborate with senior government and technical leadership to mature cybersecurity capabilities.
• Develop documentation and roadmaps; mentor engineers and architects.
