Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a seasoned Department Manager at China Lake to lead a technical department supporting warfighter missions. You will oversee targets training operations, ensure budgets, and drive quality improvements while coordinating with the customer.

The ideal candidate has DoD background, strong managerial experience, and an active Secret clearance is preferred. Salary range is $142,418–$157,418 per year with no telework option.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in related fields and a minimum of 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Active Secret clearance preferred or eligibility; DoD environment experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training in a related field.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical and procedural guidelines to meet needs of work unit.
• Manage the technical performance of work assigned to the department.
• Maintain current operational status information on budgets and development plans.
• Interact with the customer to ensure all requirements are met to their satisfaction.
• Lead and train department personnel and oversee quality and process improvements.
