Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a senior-level contract management professional with extensive DoD program experience in Albuquerque, NM. The role requires mentoring government personnel in cost/price analysis, negotiations, and related government pricing activities.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in a technical or business field and possess deep knowledge of FAR, PWS/CLIN structures, and procurement processes. On-site duties include coordination with the PCO and interfaces with DCAA/DCMA.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of contract management experience in a DoD acquisition program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.
• Experience with government pricing activities and cost/price analysis.
• Knowledge of FAR and DoD contracting requirements.
• Experience with major DoD programs and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform and train government personnel in government pricing activities such as cost/price analysis, fact-finding, audit, and negotiation.
• Provide methods, processes, and tools to improve cost, schedule, and performance efficiencies in procurement strategies.
• Identify and correct problems and make recommendations related to programmatic contract management.
• Advise on PWS development, CLIN structure, and evaluation criteria.
• Directly support the government Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO).
• Interface with contractors, DCAA, and DCMA; develop briefs, SOPs, and guidebooks.
• Prepare Price Negotiation Memoranda (PNMs) and Price Competition Memorandums (PCMs).
• Perform ConWrite and CON-IT administrative duties.
