Job summary

Space Systems Integration in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Senior Space Program Management & Acquisition Support to lead and advise on highly technical satellite programs for DoD and national security customers. You will work in a small, empowered team, integrating space systems, C2 requirements, and warfighter needs, while communicating complex results to management and leadership.

The role requires ten years of DoD/IC experience, an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and an active TS clearance

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience.
• Proven experience in development and fielding satellite systems.
• An ABET-accredited engineering degree or Professional Engineering license.
• MA/MS/ME degree.
• Active TS clearance with in-scope SCI eligibility and willingness for polygraph.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Full-time, on-site in vicinity of Kirtland NM, with travel within CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Serves as program advisory lead for time-critical technical projects and tasks requiring high-level expertise.
• Leverages operations experience to assist program offices in developing and fielding space systems.
• Assists acquisition planning, market research, and drafting technical requirements and documents.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to verify program needs and meet project goals.
• Helps assess technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timely delivery of deliverables.
• Communicates complex results to management and leadership.
• Oversees multiple projects and coordinates resources across teams.
• Develops Monthly Status Reports including updates, challenges and opportunities, and subcontractor performance.
• Drafts, reviews, and edits final program reports, documents, and briefings.
• Coordinates with external agencies and U.S. Space Force transition activities.
