Job summary

Apogee seeks a Software Engineer to support AFNWC/NCC at Offutt AFB, NE. You will review requirements, design, and test artifacts within an agile team, delivering detailed documentation and analysis. The role emphasizes SQA, code reviews, and collaboration with government leads.

Candidates must be a US citizen with a Top Clearance/SCI eligibility and have DoD experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and on-site work at Offutt AFB is required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required
• Top Secret/SCI- eligible clearance
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• 5 years DoD experience minimum
• Experience with NPES testing and related tools (preferred)
• Agile DT&E and OT&E experience with NPES systems

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and analyze planning, requirements, design, support, and test documentation including code and config files.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating requirements and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments.
• Improve operations by analyzing systems and recommending procedural changes.
• Provide SME on nuclear C2 planning, and train government staff.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues.
• Perform Software Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with quality specs.
• Work in an agile team; elaborate features into detailed designs; perform data validation and testing; conduct peer reviews.
