Job summary

JT4, LLC at Edwards AFB seeks a Security Administrator to support the site security department, manage clearances, issue badges, and coordinate reinvestigations. The role requires DoD clearance up to Top Secret with Special Access and U.S. citizenship.

Associate degree with five years of related security experience is required, plus Industrial Security Management training. Some 2nd shift and weekend work may be required; travel to remote locations may occur.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent military or technical school with five years related work experience in NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields.
• Must complete Industrial Security Management Course or equivalent training.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and graphics software; database management experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily administrative tasks in support of the site security department.
• Communicate with clearance granting agency regarding status of clearances and reinvestigations.
• Obtain certifications of existing clearance levels for employees and consultants.
• Issues security badges to designated employees and visitors; maintain logs of badges issued.
• Schedule briefings and coordinate with personnel for initial and periodic reinvestigations.
• Provide COMSEC and SAP-related security support and related documentation.
