Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for a DoD program in the San Diego area. The role covers RMF execution, SSP/SAP/POA&M development, and NIST 800-53 control implementation.

You will collaborate with ISSMs and program stakeholders to ensure security compliance throughout system life cycles. The position requires an active secret clearance, DoD RMF experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8140.03 IAT II certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline and 8+ years in cybersecurity.
• Must have DoD RMF experience in the ISSE role in eMASS.
• Must have experience using eMASS.
• Must review DISA STIGs/SRGs/SCAP/ACAS results.
• DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Estimated travel up to 10%.
• This is a hybrid position: ~60% onsite/40% remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute Risk Management Framework (RMF) through all phases.
• Develop/update RMF SSPs, SAPs and POA&Ms; document NIST 800-53 controls.
• Coordinate with ISSMs and stakeholders; respond to data calls.
• Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and compliance issues; track POA&M actions.
• Provide status updates to the ISSM and engineering teams.
