Job summary

DCS Corp in Warren, MI is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer to lead QA across DoD programs from development through fielded systems. You will plan, implement, and manage all quality activities, lead contractor audits, and drive ISO 9001 compliance with measurable performance metrics.

Coordinate with program managers, DoD stakeholders, and DCMA to translate requirements into robust quality plans. Travel up to 20% and co-location with the customer are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• BS in Engineering or equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Subject matter expert for Quality and the ability to lead Quality efforts on assigned programs with minimal oversight from the Government lead.
• Extensive experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Requirements and Auditing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and manage Quality on assigned programs over the DoD lifecycle.
• Oversee contractor activities to ensure fabrication/modification meets design requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with PMs, users, independent test agencies, and other Government agencies to translate requirements into system concepts and specifications.
• Review and evaluate system performance, assess risk, and recommend actions for product acceptability.
• Conduct audits of contractor quality management systems and system assembly/test procedures to ensure compliance.
