Qualifications

  • Experience in quality control or quality assurance within a DoD, aerospace, defense, or highly regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to support Manufacturing and prototype development activities and assembly.
  • Inspect, test, and evaluate materials, components, and finished products for compliance with quality standards, specifications, and DoD requirements.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain detailed QC records, inspection reports, and required documentation to support audits, compliance reviews, and contract deliverables.
  • Identify non‑conformances, perform root‑cause analysis, and support corrective and preventive action activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure quality expectations are clearly communicated and consistently met.
  • Support internal and external audits, including DoD compliance reviews and technical evaluations.
  • Ensure QC processes align with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards (if applicable).
  • Assist in developing quality metrics, reporting trends, and recommending process improvements.

Job description

This candidate will be to support our Manufacturing programs within a DoD government contracting environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products, materials, processes, and documentation comply with internal quality standards, contractual requirements, and applicable government regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a regulated environment, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the development and manufacturing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to support Manufacturing and prototype development activities and assembly.
  • Inspect, test, and evaluate materials, components, and finished products for compliance with quality standards, specifications, and DoD requirements.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience in quality control or quality assurance within a DoD, aerospace, defense, or highly regulated environment preferred.
