Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Network Systems Engineer to support a large-scale DoD enterprise network program. This on-site role is Pearl Harbor, HI, with alternates Whidbey Island, WA and Norfolk, VA.

Senior resource for enterprise network engineering, Tier III troubleshooting, configuration management, and modernization across a dispersed environment. Responsibilities include leading complex troubleshooting across LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and security boundaries; configuring routers,

Qualifications

8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
Experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, switching, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPNs, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, multicast, firewalls.
Tier III escalation support and security tech expertise.
Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years or Master's with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
Active Secret Clearance; Top Secret eligibility.
DoD 8570 IAT Level III certs; Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex enterprise network issues.
Configure, maintain, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infra.
Develop EIPs, manage change requests, root-cause analysis, deployments.
Maintain configuration baselines; ensure DISA STIG compliance; lab validation.
Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies; support future network modernization.
