Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller / Network Engineer to support DoDIN operations on-site at Scott AFB, IL, with potential opportunities in Pearl Harbor, HI. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and implement mission-critical DoD network infrastructure, ensuring DISA-compliant configurations and active security postures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of network engineering, operations, or NOC experience.
• Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper devices in LAN/WAN environments.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret; TS/SCI preferred; DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues across a live global DoD network using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Configure, test, activate, and monitor network devices and services.
• Manage incident tickets, service orders, and change requests with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, DISA stakeholders, vendors, and operations teams for service activations and issue resolution.
• Support fault management and 24/7 service restoration efforts.
