Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DoD network implementation and engineering support.
• 3+ years with commercial hardware, networks, and cloud environments.
• 2+ years in network discovery and documenting system requirements.
• Experience with security, routing, and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, L3VPNs).
• Experience developing and executing test and implementation plans.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff; detail-oriented and multitasking.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 40%.
• Secret clearance; HS diploma or GED; DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop structured designs for customer network across voice, data, security, and AV systems.
• Create engineered drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documents.
• Collaborate with IT, facilities, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to analyze requirements and develop designs.
• Coordinate structured cabling with other design disciplines and ensure documentation for implementation.
• Implement final network solutions for on‑prem and cloud environments.
