Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years directly related experience.
• Routing, switching, and firewall configuration in multi-vendor environments.
• WAN/LAN, out-of-band management, and storage architecture experience.
• US Citizenship required; security investigation for access to classified information.
• DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification required.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new network solutions or improve current networks.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Configure firewalls, routing and switching for efficiency and security.
• Maximize network performance through monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Document network equipment failures, repairs, installations, and removals.
• Analyze faults, diagnose, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with 3rd party transport providers.
• Perform capacity analysis and planning for growing traffic.
• Coordinate and execute scheduled upgrades.
• Report network status to stakeholders.
• Maintain ATO documentation and SIEM/security controls procedures.
• Interface with third-party support and vendors as needed.
