Job summary

TIME Systems is seeking a Network Administrator to monitor and secure DoD networks at AFNCR. The role requires troubleshooting, STIGs, and upgrades, with extensive experience in encryption devices and DoD security practices. On-site in the AFNCR area with strong veteran-focused culture.

Active DoD Secret clearance, CCNA, and CCNP or Security+ CE, plus 9+ years in networking, are required. Expect on-call duties and collaboration with vendors to resolve outages and maintain performance.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• CCNA certification required.
• CCNP certification or Security+ CE required.
• 9+ years of networking experience.
• 8+ years with LANs, VLANs, STP, Port Security, and L2 switching configurations.
• 8+ years of experience with EIGRP/OSPF routing and best practices.
• 8+ years of L1/L2 network troubleshooting.
• Experience with encryption devices and DoD management tools (GEM-X).
• Experience with DoD COMSEC management and network hardening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data and infrastructure for actionable items.
• Identify network issues and troubleshoot/escalate.
• Maintain DoD security postures per DoD and local mandates.
• Perform STIGs, iOS upgrades, and related support tasks.
• Manage enterprise routers and switches during outages or degradation.
• Interface with vendors to resolve outages and performance issues.
• Support site lead with day-to-day ops and special projects.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
