Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a CLEARED Tier 3 Network Engineer to join a large DOD/DOE program in Washington DC. This on-site, full-time role requires active TS clearance and hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, routing and switching, and security devices.

You will install, monitor, and optimize infrastructure, support data center networks, and collaborate with engineering teams. A Top Secret eligible certification and 4+ years in network engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience with routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• F5 load balancers experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and optimize LAN and WAN infrastructure including routers and switches.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to improve reliability.
• Provide design input and support during engineering meetings for network projects.
• Manage and assist data center network infrastructure and related systems.
