Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Installation Technician to support the Defense Enclave Services program at Fort Meade, MD. You will lead surveys, infrastructure deployment, and installation of enterprise network equipment in classified environments, ensuring compliance with DISA, NIST, and TEMPEST standards.

Impressive hands-on experience with Cat6 and fiber, plus OTDRs and cable testers, is required. Top Secret clearance and 90–100% travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with four years of relevant experience; additional years may substitute.
• Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Knowledge of ANSI/TIA standards and DISA/NIST/TEMPEST guidelines.
• Travel 90-100% to CONUS/OCONUS locations.
• Experience installing and certifying Cat6 and fiber-optic cabling.

Responsibilities

• Lead network surveys, infrastructure assessments, and installation activities.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, WAPs, and controllers.
• Create site survey reports and network topology diagrams.
• Certify cabling with OTDRs and cable testers.
• Develop BOMs and track deployment status.
• Support after-hours and maintenance windows.
