Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Architect to support PM IS&A and Army AI/ML modernization efforts. The role focuses on designing and optimizing DoDIN-A networks across Army environments and DoD cybersecurity standards.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in architecture development, analysis, and documentation, collaborating with Army stakeholders, program offices, and engineers to deliver secure, scalable networks at APG, Maryland.

Qualifications

• Extensive DoD enterprise network architecture experience.
• Experience with DoDAF and EA documentation and DoD policies.
• Ability to lead teams and brief senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain current and future-state network architectures for Army intelligence systems.
• Produce DoDAF/EA-aligned architecture products.
• Analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize networks.
• Collaborate with providers to optimize traffic in tactical/strategic environments.
• Design scalable solutions to improve performance, resiliency, and availability.
• Develop contingencies and alternate routing for mission continuity.
• Translate operational requirements into modernized network solutions with stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and brief recommendations to senior government and military leadership.
• Support integration of emerging technologies while meeting cybersecurity standards.
