Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to design, implement, and secure DoD network infrastructure in mission-critical environments. You will work on network transport layers, cross-domain solutions, and system security to support national security missions.

The role requires extensive DoD IT experience, network design expertise, and the ability to advise clients on complex projects while maintaining security and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience integrating applications and infrastructure into a Cloud environment.
• 5+ years of experience in government IT, preferably in DoD SAP IT.
• Experience developing or reviewing network infrastructure designs and architecture, including routers, switches, firewalls, and cross‑domain solutions.
• Experience creating, reviewing, and maintaining network diagrams and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and upgrade network infrastructure and review designs for reliability and security.
• Develop and assess network transport layers and system security in mission-critical environments.
• Research and recommend new technologies and services to improve DoD networks.
• Resolve complex network issues and improve security, reliability, and availability.
• Advise clients on DoD IT programs and cross-domain solutions.
