Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Network Solutions Architect to design, deploy, and optimize complex enterprise networks. You will lead architecture efforts, configure core services, and implement DoD-compliant PKI/DNS/DHCP/NTP with Palo Alto security architectures.

The role emphasizes wireless network design for the DoD, cloud networking across Azure/AWS/GCP, and adherence to STIGs/IA standards while mentoring team members and guiding client engagements. A Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture.
• Experience designing complex wireless network for the DoD
• Experience designing and securing networks with Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience designing and deploying DoD-compliant implementations of PKI, DNS, DHCP, or NTP
• Experience with cloud networking, including Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with DoD network deployments, STIGs, and IA compliance standards
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, 802.1X, SD-WAN, and wireless RF design
• Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies such as Aruba EdgeConnect and orchestrator
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable enterprise network and wireless solutions.
• Design, configure, and maintain foundational network services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and PKI, in compliance with DoD standards.
• Design and deploy wireless LANs using HPE Aruba technologies, including ClearPass, EdgeConnect, and AirWave.
• Develop and enforce security architectures using Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
• Develop detailed architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation roadmaps.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to network design and performance.
• Provide expert guidance during troubleshooting, network migrations, and performance tuning efforts.
• Ensure designs meet high availability, security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Develop and maintain enterprise standards, policies, and procedures for network architecture.
• Lead clients' engagements and interactions.
