Job summary

Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC) seeks a Network Architect, SME, to lead network modernization in complex DoD environments. The role is onsite in Honolulu, HI, with standard hours and a need for top-tier engineering leadership across multiple sites.

Qualifications include active CCIE, 15+ years in DoD/national-security networks, and a Bachelor's in a technical field. You will brief senior leaders, guide engineers, and ensure secure, scalable architecture for critical missions.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or CCIE Security at start date.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible network engineering experience, incl. 7+ years in senior roles in DoD/national-security environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise routing, BGP/OSPF, MPLS, QoS, firewalls, SDN, encryption, and high availability.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the integrated enterprise network architecture across multiple DoD locations.
• Translate operational needs into enterprise architectures that remain synchronized and traceable.
• Own the network baseline and high-availability patterns including SDN and PACE transport.
• Develop and approve designs, IP/routing plans, BOMs, configurations, and as-built packages.
• Lead Tier 3/4 routing, switching, security, and performance issues; mentor engineers.
• Review work for security impact, interoperability, and compliance with the baseline.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement cross-site corrective actions.
• Brief senior leaders and program executives; distinguish requirements from risks and assumptions.
• Integrate Zero Trust, ICAM, segmentation, and vulnerability management into designs.
