Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support federal construction projects at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas.

The role focuses on engineering, construction management, contract administration, and coordination with Government personnel and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery in compliance with federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering or related field and 7–10 years of relevant experience, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of engineering, architecture, construction management, or project management experience; OR ten (10) years of experience successfully managing construction projects.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal construction programs preferred, MILCON/SRM experience preferred.
• Experience with construction contract administration, quality assurance, project controls, scheduling, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and provide guidance on plans, specs and code interpretations.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance with sound construction methodology and contract compliance.
• Document principal construction features, plans, specs, submittals, and shop drawings for field conditions and contract compliance.
• Maintain situational awareness of contractor activities to prevent Government delays.
• Assist in negotiation/change order management documents and support Government negotiation teams.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field

7+ years of engineering/architecture/construction management/project management experience; or 10 years of experience managing construction projects
