Job summary

Peraton seeks a Zero Trusts Manager to support SITEC 3 EOM at MacDill AFB, Florida. You will oversee project planning, execution, and leadership across a portfolio of IT O&M tasks critical to NetOps and enterprise infrastructure for USSOCOM and deployed forces.

The role requires DoD TS/SCI clearance, extensive senior-level project management experience, and ability to translate technical concepts for stakeholders. Location is MacDill AFB, FL.

Qualifications

• Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, 3 years with PhD.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience managing IT projects is desired.
• DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 802 by 1 Oct 26.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Plans, leads, and manages personnel responsible for the organization's portfolio of projects and maintains efficiency of planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk assessment.
• Develops and executes against project objectives by collaborating with the customer on needs and goals, plans, and status.
• Determines project responsibilities by identifying phases, assigning personnel, and reviewing bids.
• Determines project specifications by studying design, requirements, performance standards, and cost estimates.
• Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Determines project schedule by studying plan, requirements, and sequencing elements.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
• Controls project plans by reviewing designs, schedule changes, and actions.
• Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends for action.
• Responsible for technical/operational leadership within programmatic guidelines.
