Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Journeyman General/Interdisciplinary Engineer for a full-time assignment at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. The role supports AFLCMC/ES with systems engineering, architecture, and acquisition activities across DoD programs.

Responsibilities include design, analysis, documentation, and coordination across government and contractor teams. Requires DoD experience, security clearance, and US citizenship; salary range $120,000–$130,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level Clearance.
• Must be a US citizen.
• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree or 10 years of DoD experience with 3+ in DoD.

Responsibilities

• Design and Architectures for DoD acquisitions and systems engineering processes.
• Develop and review system documentation, analyses, and technical reports (AoA, SEP, CDR, MRA, TIM).
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for DoD programs.
• Perform system cost, schedule, and technical trade studies.
