Job summary

DCS Corp seeks a General/Interdisciplinary Engineer to support the AFLCMC/ES ESS Division at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role covers analysis, design, testing, deployment, and sustainment across the systems lifecycle.

You will develop engineering documentation, perform architecture analyses, ensure interoperability, and translate DoD requirements into actionable system specifications. Travel up to 25% and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
5+ years of relevant DoD engineering experience.
Alternatively 10+ years of directly related engineering experience, with 3+ years in DoD.
Experience supporting engineering in DoD environments.
Ability to translate DoD requirements into system requirements.
Experience preparing technical documentation and analysis artifacts.

Responsibilities

Conduct systems engineering activities across the acquisition lifecycle (AoA, SEP, CDR, MRA, TIM) with reports and briefings.
Develop and analyze system architectures; apply MBSE techniques to document planned and existing systems.
Maintain system architecture and interoperability requirements for baselined systems.
Translate DoD user needs into system requirements for design, testing, and evaluation.
Develop TEMP/test plans, procedures, and readiness documentation; support developmental and operational tests.
Perform technical management tasks including requirements, risk, configuration, and interface management; support logistics efforts.
