Drive Capital is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, focusing on the DoD/Intelligence Community. This role serves as the technical lead, partnering closely with sales to validate and architect VAST's data platform in secure environments.

The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in Pre-Sales and Systems Engineering, with a strong foundation in SQL and data architectures, alongside expertise in enterprise storage and AI/HPC infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Pre-Sales / Systems Engineering supporting DoD or Intelligence Community customers.
• Strong foundation in SQL-based systems and database architectures.
• Deep expertise in enterprise storage, scale-out architectures, and AI/HPC infrastructure.
• Active TS/SCI (Poly preferred) required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor across IC and Defense Intelligence accounts.
• Translate mission requirements into scalable VAST architectures.
• Design secure, high-performance solutions leveraging VAST's architecture.
• Architect AI-ready data platforms supporting GPU clusters and large-scale ingestion.
• Partner with defense SIs and cleared cloud providers.
