Advantage Technical seeks an experienced Contracts & Compliance Manager in Owings Mills, MD to oversee government and commercial contracts through the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and export controls. The role involves coordinating negotiations, risk mitigation, and regulatory processes in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in DoD contracting, strong analytical and communication skills, and a relevant degree (JD/CPCM preferred). U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of contract administration or compliance in a DoD environment.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS and export control regulations.
• Experience negotiating and administering complex government contracts.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD/CPCM or equivalent preferred.
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Manage government and commercial contracts through the full lifecycle.
• Serve as primary point of contact for contract communications.
• Lead contract negotiations and resolve administration issues.
• Review, draft, and analyze contracts and compliance documents.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, Export Control and other regulations.
• Manage export licensing activities and regulatory processes.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support performance and risk mitigation.
