Job summary

STR is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator to lead contract strategy and execution across a DoD/Intelligence community portfolio. You will guide proposals, negotiations, and compliance while partnering with senior leadership to drive business outcomes. This is a leadership role with visibility across STR’s enterprise.

You will oversee life-cycle contract management, advise on contractual risk, and mentor junior staff. A Secret clearance is required, U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of federal government contracting experience (DoD/IC).
• Expert knowledge of FAR/DFARS, contract law, and export controls (ITAR, EAR).
• Experience with multiple contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, OTA) and related agreements.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Program Management, Finance, Engineering, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full life-cycle contract management across a government contracts portfolio.
• Provide strategic counsel on contract strategy, risk, and negotiation approaches.
• Review solicitations and develop compliant, competitive proposals with Program Management and Finance.
