Job summary

STR is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator to lead contract strategy and execution for a diverse DoD and Intelligence Community portfolio. This leadership role provides expert guidance on proposals, negotiations, and compliance while partnering with senior leadership to drive business outcomes.

You will oversee the full life‑cycle of government contracts, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across departments to improve efficiency and compliance in Contracts and Supply Chain processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years of Federal government contracting experience with DoD/IC programs.
• Active Secret security clearance (TS/SCI a plus).
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and export control regulations (ITAR/EAR).
• Experience with CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, OTA contracts and related vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full life‑cycle contract management across government contracts for DoD/IC programs.
• Advise on contractual rights, obligations, and risk for proposals and negotiations.
• Develop external relationships with customers, primes, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review solicitations and coordinate compliant proposals with Program Management and Finance.
