Job summary

STR is seeking a high‑performing Contracts Manager to lead a team of contracts professionals supporting DoD and IC programs. You will provide strategic direction, ensure operational excellence, and work with senior leadership to drive business outcomes in a dynamic defense contracting environment.

The role emphasizes team development, contract lifecycle oversight, and proactive risk management, with a focus on FAR/DFARS compliance and complex negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; DoD/IC contracting experience strongly preferred.
• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility highly desirable (U.S. citizenship required).
• Expert knowledge of FAR/DFARS and export control regulations (ITAR, EAR).
• Experience with multiple contract vehicles, NDAs, CRADAs, ACAs, and IP/data rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of contracts professionals, including hiring and performance management.
• Oversee full life-cycle contract management across government contracts with focus on quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support growth objectives and program performance.
• Develop relationships with customers, primes, subcontractors, and suppliers to strengthen partnerships.
• Direct development of compliant, competitive proposals and review solicitation responses.
